and its production to the western side of No. 1 State Highway;
thence southerly and westerly along the boundaries of the
Manawatu Catchment District as described in Gazette, 1943,
page 973, to the point of commencement.

Secondly, all that area containing 1.5 square miles, more or
less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the
western side of No. 1 State Highway in Block III, Te Kawau
S.D., distant 20 chains north from the intersection of that
side with the northern side of Campion Road, and proceeding
generally easterly along a right line parallel to Rongotea Road
to the eastern boundary of Section 705, Town of Carnarvon,
along that boundary to and along the southern boundary
of Lot 4, D.P. 4003, to the south-eastern corner of the said
Lot 4, along a right line parallel to Rongotea Road to the
western boundary of Section 4, Douglas District, along that
boundary to a point in line with the southern boundary of
Section 12, Douglas District, along a right line to a point on
the southern boundary of Section 12, Douglas District, distant
9 chains from the south-eastern corner of the said Section 12,
along a right line to a point on the western side of Waitohi
Road distant 9 chains from the south-eastern corner of
Section 12, Douglas District, along a right line parallel to
Rongotea Road to the western boundary of Section 19,
Douglas District, and along that boundary to the north-western
corner of the said Section 19; thence westerly and southerly
along the boundaries of the Manawatu Catchment District as
described in Gazette, 1943, page 973, to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT-MANAWATU COUNTY
FIRSTLY, all that area containing 2.6 square miles, more or
less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western
side of No. 1 State Highway, distant 15 chains southwards
from the south-eastern corner of Section 116, Town of
Carnarvon, in Block VI, Te Kawau S.D., and proceeding
westerly along a right line parallel to the southern boundary
of the said Section 116 to a point in line with the eastern
boundary of Lot 17, D.P. 660; thence generally northerly to
and along the eastern boundaries of Lots 17 and 9, D.P. 660,
and their production to the northern side of Rosina Road,
along that side to and along the western boundary of Lot 1,
D.P. 1189, the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 3622, and
the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4131, and its production
to the northern side of Campion Road; thence easterly along
that side of the western side of No. 1 State Highway; thence
southerly along the boundaries of the Rangitikei Catchment
District as described in Gazette 1944, page 1503, to the point
of commencement.

Secondly, all that area containing 0.4 square miles, more
or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western
corner of Section 19, Douglas District, in Block IV, Te Kawau
S.D., and proceeding generally easterly along a right line to a
point on the western boundary of Section 260, Town of
Carnarvon, distant 26 chains from the south-western corner of
the said Section 260, and along a right line parallel to the
southern boundaries of Sections 260, 296, 295, and 292, Town
of Carnarvon, to the western side of Cole Road; thence
southerly and westerly along the boundaries of the Rangitikei
Catchment District as described in Gazette, 1944, page 1503,
to the point of commencement.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 25468 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington.

At the Government House at Wellington this 13th day of

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act
1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
revokes all Orders in Council relating to elective members of
the Hauraki Catchment Board, and prescribes that the constituent districts shall be those shown in the first column of
the Schedule hereto, that the principal local authority for the
combined districts shall be that authority indicated by the
letter "(P)", that the number of members for each constituent or combined district shall be the number shown in the
second column of the Schedule hereto, and that this Order in
Council shall come into effect on and after the 9th day of
October 1971.

PURSUANT to the Water Pollution Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby appoint Norman Colin McLeod, civil engineer, an officer of the Ministry of Works, to be a member of the Water Pollution Control Council on and after the 1st day of October 1971.
