ONE TREE HILL BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sanitary Sewer Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 2, 1971, $16,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the One Tree Hill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixteen thousand dollars ($16,000), authorised to be raised by the One Tree Hill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the issue of $20,000 of the Sanitary Sewer Reticulation Loan 1961 of $780,000, which matures on the 1st day of November 1971, the said One Tree Hill Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five nine five (.0595) of a cent in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the No. 3 Special Drainage Area (Penrose) of the Borough of One Tree Hill, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Franklin County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual loan charges on a loan of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000), authorised to be raised by the Franklin County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing staff housing or making advances to employees for housing purposes, the Franklin County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought eight two eight cents (.00828c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Franklin, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 21st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Franklin County Council held on the 30th day of August 1971.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION PASSED BY THE DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL ON MONDAY, 23 AUGUST 1971 MAKING SPECIAL RATE
General Renewal Loan No. 3, 1971
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $98,000, authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Baths Loan 1960 of $528,000, which matures on 1 November 1971, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0133c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six (6) and ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioner Housing Loan No. 4, 1971, $36,000
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty-six thousand dollars ($36,000), authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing pensioners’ housing at Seddon Street, Lower Hutt, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.014 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value), on all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 40 years, or until such time as the loan is repaid.”

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reserves and Property Development Loan 1971—$20,000
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Rodney County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for expenditure on the purchase and development of land for metal quarrying and public reserve purposes at Te Arai Point, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0125c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Rodney, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the said loan is fully paid off.
