THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Carterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $18,960, authorised to be raised by the Carterton
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
afforesting of some 237 acres at the Carterton Borough Council
water supply headworks, the said Carterton Borough Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought nought
five four five six seven of a dollar (.00054567 of a dollar) on
the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of
Carterton, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 40 years or until the loan is fully paid off. It is not proposed
to collect the special rate as the said loan or so much of the
principal thereof as is due and owing together with the interest
thereon, shall be paid in full on the maturity of the said loan
from the moneys received from the sale of timber.

Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $257,500, authorised to be raised by the Masterton
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
purpose of extending and upgrading the sewerage system of
the borough, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby
makes a special rate of 0.1338c in the dollar upon the
unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the
Borough of Masterton, and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and the 1st day
of December in each and every year during the currency of

Rural Housing Loan 1968—$18,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eyre
County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purposes of providing the charges on a loan
of $18,000, authorised to be raised by the Eyre County Council
under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose
of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing
Act 1939, which loan is known as the Rural Housing Loan
1968, the Eyre County Council hereby makes a special rate
of 0.01765 of a cent in the dollar on the unimproved value of
all rateable property in the County of Eyre, and that such
special rate shall be an annual and recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years or
until the loan is fully paid.

mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing public toilet
blocks and amenities at Maidstone Park and Whakatiki Park,
and extension of front fence at Maidstone Park, the said
Upper Hutt City Council hereby makes a special rate of
0.0105c in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of
the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of
Upper Hutt, and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year until the loan is fully repaid."
