NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mount Albert Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, to form a service lane in the Borough of Mount Albert; and for the purposes of such public work the lands, being portion of 2 to 10 Kitchener Road, Mount Albert, and described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the said lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated at 615 New North Road, Mount Albert, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by taking of such lands may set forth in writing any objection they may wish to make to the execution of the works or to the taking of the lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and may send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Office, 615 New North Road, Mount Albert (P.O. Box 8575, Auckland 1). If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objections will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and the place of the hearing.

An area of 8.4 perches being part Lot 2, D.P. 54153 (portion of 2 to 10 Kitchener Road), part of certificate of title, 11d/537, North Auckland Registry; and more particularly shown coloured blue on S.O. Plan 46908 situated in Block IV, Titi-rangi Survey District.

NOTICE TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND TO STOP ROAD
J/15/150—Keenan’s Road
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be taken and the portions of the road described in the Second Schedule hereto are required to be stopped. And notice is further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken and the portions of the road required to be stopped is deposited in the office of the Tauranga County Council, Barkes Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said land or by the stopping of the said portions of road should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land or by the stopping of the said portions of road, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Tauranga County Council at Tauranga; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the Council meeting at which the hearing will be held.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, street purposes in the City of Auckland, and for the purpose of such public work the fee simple estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land in respect of which the interest above-described is so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the City Valuer, Civic Administration Building, Auckland, and is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said interest in the said land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must state his objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Civic Administration Building, Auckland. If any objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL the fee simple estate in those parcels of land containing: firstly, 3.2 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Mount Eden, being portion of Allotment 11 of Section 6 of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 520, folio 220, North Auckland Land Registry; and secondly, 1 rood and 15.1 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 3, Deposited Plan 579, being portion of Allotment 57 of Section 6 of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 347, folio 29, North Auckland Land Registry.
Such pieces of land firstly and secondly above-described are situated at and known as 129 Owens Road, Epsom.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Land Acquisition Loan 1971—$120,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $120,000, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council for the purpose of purchasing land for purposes other than roading, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0246 of a cent in the dollar on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council on the 11th day of August 1971.
