MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and its amendments, and of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments:
Notice is hereby given that the Manukau City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of the public street named Sandstone Road; and for that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public offices of the Manukau City Council at Hill Road, Manurewa, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during the ordinary office hours. Every person affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land is called upon to set forth in writing any objections he may wish to make to the execution of the said work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection within forty (40) days of the first publication of this notice to the Manukau City Council, Private Bag, Manurewa. If any such objection is made a public hearing of the objector will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing. At the hearing of any objection the objector shall be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

ALL those parcels of land containing: first, twenty-nine decimal seven perches (29.7P.), more or less, being part Lot 4, Deposited Plan 4431, and being part Allotment 132, Parish of Pakuranga, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 173, folio 241, North Auckland Registry, as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 46419, and thereon coloured yellow; and secondly and thirdly, twenty-one perches (21P.) and one rood thirty-eight decimal nine perches (1R. 38.9P.), more or less, respectively being parts Lot 4, Deposited Plan 4431, and being parts Allotment 132, Parish of Pakuranga, and being parts of the land in certificate of title, Volume 175, folio 178, North Auckland Registry, as the same are more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 46419, and thereon coloured sepia.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the Upper Tuki Tuki Flood Control Scheme, and for the purposes of or in connection with such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board situate at Vautier Street, Napier, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the said Catchment Board at its office aforesaid, and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the said place of the hearing.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Heretaunga Industrial Development Redemption Loan 1971—$3,200
I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 5 August 1971.
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $3,200, authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Heretaunga Industrial Development Loan 1964 of $100,000, which matures on 1 September 1971, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of .057 (decimal nought five seven) cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 66 Special Rating Area of Heretaunga Riding of the County of Hutt, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 17 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
