NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely the construction of a bridge and approaches thereto over the Waiarohia Stream and for this purpose the said Whangarei City Council proposes to take under the provisions of the said Public Works Act 1928, the land described in the schedule hereto for street.
Notice is further given that plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situated in Bank Street, Whangarei, and are there available for public inspection without fee by all persons during office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said work, or by the taking of such land, who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Bank Street, Whangarei

RAETIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Raetihi Borough Council hereby resolves:
"That to meet the increased annual charges on the Water Supply Improvements Loan 1970 for $35,000, the Raetihi Borough Council hereby makes an additional special rate of $0.0003 in the $ (total rate now $0.0173 in the $) on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Raetihi and that it be otherwise in accordance with the previous resolution of 20 July 1970.

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Raetihi Borough Council on the 15th day of December 1970.

CITY OF PORIRUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Land Purchase Loan 1970, $70,000
THAT, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of $70,000 authorised to be raised by the Porirua City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for Land Purchase Loan 1970, the said Porirua City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0357 cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Porirua and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Housing Loan 1970, $18,000
RESOLUTION re special rate passed by the Council on the 23rd day of November 1970.
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of $18,000 authorised to be raised by the Alexandra Borough Council, pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of erecting accommodation for elderly people, the Alexandra Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0415 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Alexandra and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan payable half-yearly during the currency of the loan being a period of 30 years or until the loan is paid off."

"PUBLIC notice is hereby given that for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the above loan for $125,000 authorised to be raised by the Morrinsville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for installing stormwater disposal reticulation, the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two three one cents (.231 cents) in the dollar ($) on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Morrinsville, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Abattoir Improvements and Manager's House Loan 1970, $40,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Westport Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Westport Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of upgrading the municipal abattoir and erecting a staff house, the said Westport Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal four eight seven five of a cent (.4875c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Westport and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off."
