MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Outer Area Sewerage Redemption Loan, 1971—$20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for repayment of $20,000 borrowed for the purpose of installing sewerage, due and payable on 18 September 1971, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought one of a cent in the dollar (.01 of a cent in the dollar) upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill, and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being for a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Passed at a meeting of Council held on the 3rd day of August 1971.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 79, 1971, $21,000

RESOLUTION passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 28th day of July 1971:

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-one thousand dollars ($21,000) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 79, 1971, $21,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Redemption Loan No. 25, 1965, of $70,000, which matures on 1 August 1971, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought nought six one (.0061) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 11, 1971

THAT, whereas the sum of $37,300 borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Water Supply Loan No. 2, 1960, $400,000, is due and payable on the 15th day of October 1971, and whereas the sum of $28,200 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves: (a) to borrow the sum of $28,200 for the purpose of repaying the said loan; (b) that the sum of $28,200 shall be payable on the 1st day of October 1991 or such earlier date as may be determined by Council; (c) that for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 11, 1971, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0024c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Waitemata, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency

of the loan, being a period of 24 years or until the loan is fully paid off; and (d) that authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of an extract from the minutes passed by the Waitemata County Council on 29 July 1971.

BOROUGH OF GLEN EDEN

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Glen Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of $80,000, authorised to be raised by the Glen Eden Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing footpaths, kerb and channelling, sewer reticulation and water supply, the said Glen Eden Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one seven cents (.17c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Glen Eden, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Glen Eden Borough Council held on the 13th day of July 1971.

BOROUGH OF TAPANUI

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tapanui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000, authorised to be raised by the said Council under the aforementioned Act, such loan to be used for paying for improvements to the Tapanui Borough Water Supply, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of two decimal five six nought five cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Tapanui, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Service Reservoir Additional Loan 1971—$50,000

“THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Water Supply Service Reservoir Loan 1970— $100,000 was sanctioned, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0293c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the 28th day of July 1971.
