IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955, and IN THE MATTER
of PICTON RENTALS LIMITED:

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was,
on the 9th day of June 1971, presented to the said Court by
JOHN DOUGLAS LANG, of Wellington, civil servant, as trustee of
the estate of George Alfred Lang, late of Wellington, hardware
merchant, and Neil Johnston, of Wellington, company director,
and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the
Court sitting at Blenheim on the 25th day of June 1971, at
10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory
of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making
of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of
hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a
copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to
any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a
copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

Supreme Court at Blenheim and must be signed by the person
or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served,
or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach
the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later than
4 o’clock in the afternoon on the 24th day of June 1971.

HUTT RIVER BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the
matter of the RIVER BOARDS ACT 1908:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hutt River Board, duly con-
stituted under the provisions of the River Boards Act 1908,
being a local authority within the meaning of the Public Works
Act 1928, proposes under the provisions of the above-
mentioned Acts to execute a public work, namely, river work
for river protection purposes and for the purposes of such
public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
required to be taken for river protection purposes.

Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so
required to be taken, being Survey Office Plan No. 25614, is
deposited at the offices of the board at Winslow Chambers,
Margaret Street, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection
by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours.

All persons who are affected by the execution of the said
public work or by the taking of the said land who have any
objection to the execution of the said public work (not being
an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) shall
send such objection in writing to the secretary of the board at
at his office, Winslow Chambers, Margaret Street, Lower Hutt,
within a period of forty (40) days from the first publication of
this notice and if any such objection is made a public hearing
of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise
requires and each objector will be advised of the time and
place of the hearing.

(1) 2 acres 1 rood 11 perches being part old bed of Hutt
River shown coloured orange on Survey Office Plan No.
25614.

(2) 1 acre and 13 perches being part Section 75 Hutt
District, and part old river bed shown coloured orange on
Survey Office Plan No. 25614 and being part of the land in
certificate of title, Volume 156, folio 10.

(3) 28 perches being part Section 75, Hutt District, shown
coloured orange on Survey Office Plan No. 25614 and being
part of the land in Deeds Index 34/932.

(4) 6 perches being part Section 75, Hutt District, shown
coloured orange on Survey Office Plan No. 25614 and being
part of the land in Deeds Index 34/932.

(5) 3 acres 1 rood 15 perches being part Section 31, Hutt
District, shown coloured orange on Survey Office Plan No.
25614 and being part of the land contained in Deeds Index
3/38.

All the above pieces of land being situate in Block IX,
Belmont Survey District.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL

FORM OF RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

McLeod’s Bay - Taurikura Water Supply Loan 1971, $101,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $101,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
purpose of providing a public water supply for the McLeod’s
Bay - Taurikura District the said Whangarei County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.05 cents in the dollar ($)
upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value
of all rateable property in the County of Whangarei; and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly on the 1st day
of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.

PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Paparua County Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges of a
loan of $41,500 authorised to be raised by the Paparua County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
repaying on maturity that portion of the High Pressure Water
Supply No. 1 Redemption Loan 1965, of $60,200, which
matures on 1 July 1971, the said Paparua County Council
makes a special rate of 0.00008641 cents in the dollar upon the
rateable value of all the rateable property in the area included
in the loan and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be repay-
able yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 23 years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Te Atatu Footpath Loan 1970, $100,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waite-
mata County Council hereby resolves as follows—

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $100,000 to be raised by the Waitemata County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
constructing concrete footpath in the Te Atatu Riding and
costs incidental thereto, the said Waitemata County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.0624 on the rateable
unimproved value of all rateable property within the Te Atatu
Riding and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

an extract from the minutes passed by the Waitemata County
Council on 27 May 1971.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waite-
mata County Council hereby resolves as follows—

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $21,200 to be raised by the Waitemata County Council
under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of connecting
the Parakai Sewerage reticulation to the Helensville Borough
