TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bell Block Urban Drainage Area (Storm Water Drainage) Loan 1971 ($13,040)

RESOLVED that pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirteen thousand and forty dollars ($13,040) authorised to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing storm water drains in the Bell Block Urban Drainage Area, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight four cents in the dollar (.084c) upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property of the Bell Block Urban Drainage Area, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 4th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets Improvement Loan 1971, $250,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and its amendments and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) authorised to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing new kerbs, channels, and footpaths in streets lacking these facilities, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of $.000222 (decimal nought nought nought two two two) in the dollar on the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the said loan, being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the 17th day of May 1971, passed the above resolution.

RANGIORA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Woodend Sewerage Completion Loan 1971, $22,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on a loan of $22,000 authorised to be raised by the Rangiora County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for completing the sewerage reticulation system for the Woodend Township, the said Rangiora County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.791 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Woodend sewerage special rating area, and that special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, until the loan is paid off.

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waterworks Renewal Loan 1971

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventy-three thousand dollars ($73,000) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Waterworks Loan 1961 of $343,000 which matures on 9 October 1971 and 31 October 1971, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.061 cents in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Levin Borough Council held on 17 May 1971.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Loan 1971

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of laying additional sewer mains and ancillary works, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.033 cents in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the loan is fully paid off.”

THE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
General Extension and Improvement Loan 1971 of $1,400,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Auckland Electric Power Board Act 1921–22, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Auckland Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the principal interest and other charges on a loan of $1,400,000 known as the General Extension and Improvement Loan 1971, of $1,400,000 for the purpose of further reticulation of the Board’s area and extending, strengthening, and reorganising the supply within the Board’s area, the Auckland Electric Power Board doth hereby make a special rate of decimal nought nought nine nine seven six (.009976) cents in the dollar ($) on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Auckland electric power district, comprising the Cities of Auckland, Manukau, and Papatoetoe, together with the Boroughs of Ellerslie, Howick, Mount Albert, Mount Eden, Mount Roskill, Mount Wellington, Newmarket, Onehunga, One Tree Hill, Otahuhu, and Papakura, and the County of Waiheke and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 12 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
