It is proposed that the Shirtcliffe Fellowship be awarded as an additional award to candidates selected from the most outstanding of the applicants for post-graduate scholarships awarded under the Postgraduate Scholarships Regulations 1963 of the University Grants Committee. The scheme also proposes that the investment provisions contained in the said deed of trust be extended, and also proposes minor consequential amendments to the said deed of trust.
Notice is further given that the said application is to be heard in the Supreme Court at Wellington, on Wednesday, the 30th day of June 1971, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, or so soon thereafter as counsel can be heard.
Any person desiring to oppose the said scheme is required to give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington, to the University Grants Committee (whose address for service is at the offices of Messrs Stone, Kurta, and Co., Solicitors, Dalmuir House, 114 The Terrace, Wellington), and to the Attorney-General, not less than 7 clear days before the said 30th day of June 1971.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928. A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection to the Waipa County Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
