Notice of Final Meeting of Members

IN the matter of J. Brown and Sons Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation), and in the matter of the Companies Act 1935, take notice that, in pursuance of section 281 of the above-named Act, the final general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at the office of the liquidator, Mr Charles Franklin Sanders, No. 2, Brightside Road, Auckland, on the 18th day of June 1971, at 10.15 a.m., for the purpose of laying before such meeting the account of the winding up of the above-named company and the giving of any explanation thereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that by duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company on the 17th day of May 1971, the following special resolution was passed by the company, namely:

(a) That the company be wound up voluntarily.

(b) That Maurice L. Chatfield, of Auckland, chartered accountant, be appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company and distributing the assets.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that the University Grants Committee (as trustee of the Shirtcliffe Scholarships Fund) has made application to the Supreme Court at Wellington for approval of a scheme for the variation of the trusts of the said scholarships fund.

The scheme proposes that the Shirtcliffe Fellowship as an independent award open to all graduates holding a master's degree of a university in New Zealand in arts, science, law, commerce, or agriculture or a bachelor of science degree
