331 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, hereby gives notice as
follows.

Setting Apart Land as a Maori Reservation
WHEREAS by Order in Council, dated 2 December 1959, and
published in Gazette, 10 December 1959, No. 76, page 1886,
the Maori freehold land described in the First Schedule hereto
was set apart as a Maori reservation; and whereas it is desired
to amend the purpose for which it was set apart; and whereas
the Maori Land Court has given its support to such a varia-
tion; now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori
Affairs Act 1953, notice is hereby given as follows.
NOTICE
- The reservation constituted by Order in Council, dated 2
December 1959, and published in Gazette, 10 December 1959,
No. 76, page 1886, relating to the land described in the First
Schedule hereto is hereby cancelled. -
The whole of the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the pur-
pose of a meeting place, recreation ground, building site, place
of historic interest, and urupa for the common use or benefit

Assignment of Foreshore Licence for Jetty and Fish Cleaning
Shed at Halfmoon Bay, Stewart Island
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Secretary for Marine
hereby gives notice that the licence granted to P. Feron and
Son Ltd., on 4 February 1963 and assigned to Kaipipi
Fisheries Ltd., on 2 November 1970† to use and occupy part
of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Halfmoon Bay, Stewart
Island, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty and fish
cleaning shed is hereby further assigned to Stewart Island
Fishermen’s Co-op. Ltd.
