NOTICE is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake an inquiry in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Act 1961 and its amendments, and to report in terms of section 10D of that Act, concerning the following goods:

Clicking presses, falling within Tariff Items Ex 84.42.00 and Ex 84.59.22.

Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee Election (Notice No. 12, Ag. 61338)

PURSUANT to clause 11 of the Schedule to the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1940, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of four producers’ representatives to the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz, Department of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington, and at Nelson; also at the following post offices, viz, Motueka, Upper Moutere, Wakefield, Brightwater, Nelson, Tapawera, and Tadmor.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 7 days from 19 May 1971.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Nelson, not later than noon on the 9th day of June 1971.

PURSUANT to section 18B (3) of the Construction Act 1959, notice is hereby given that the Minister of Labour has approved the Code of Practice for Work in Compressed Air, of 4 June 1968, and the Code of Practice for Underwater Diving on Construction Work, of 1 October 1969.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

IT is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 28 April 1971, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington) from its crossing of the Tangoio River to its intersection with Gill Road for its full width, and from thence to its crossing of the Napier City boundary for its western half width, as more particularly shown on sheets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of plans M.O.W. 17087 and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Napier, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

IT is notified that the national Roads Board by resolution dated 28 April 1971, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton to Woodville) from a point approximately 8 chains north of its intersection with Spicers Road in Otorohanga County, generally southwards to Mangapu Bridge No. 2, approximately half a mile north of Hangatiki

Caves Road intersection, as more particularly shown on sheets 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of plans M.O.W. 17070 and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Te Kuiti, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

IT is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 28 April 1971, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) from the southern boundary of the City of Invercargill as defined in Gazette notice, 8 October 1970, No. 61, page 1821, to the northern side of its junction with Colyer Road, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of plans M.O.W. 17038 and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Invercargill, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
