PURSUANT to regulation 41 of the Rock Oyster Farming Regulations 1964, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries consented to the assignment of rock oyster farming lease No. 103 to Colin Alexander Boyd, of Auckland, and subsequently a deed of assignment was executed on 19 March 1971.

Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee Election—Northern Ward (Notice No. 2 Ag. 60766)


PURSUANT to clause 11 of the Otago Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1950, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of two producers’ representatives in the Northern Ward to the Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz, Department of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington; also at the offices of the Department of Agriculture at Timaru and Waimate, and at the Post Office, Temuka.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 7 days from 19 May 1971, during which period any person may lodge with the Returning Officer an objection in writing under his hand to any entry on the roll.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Dunedin. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the 9th day of June 1971.

Fixing the Rates of Levy to be Charged on Wool on and After 1 July 1971

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Wool Industry Act 1944, the New Zealand Wool Board hereby fixes the following rates of the levy to be charged on all wool which, on and after the 1st day of July 1971 is exported from New Zealand or is delivered to a wool manufacturer for use in New Zealand.

On each kilogram greasy weight of all shorn wool and on each kilogram of slipe wool, 1.55 cents.

This notice is to give effect to the conversion from the imperial to the metric system of weights.

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
