A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an access way and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the City of Napier as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of May 1971.
SCHEDULE
HAwKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 7.3 perches situated in Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District, Hawke's Bay R.D., being part Town Section 557 Napier; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24816 (S.O. 6074)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of his Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of April 1971.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of May 1971.

State Forest Land Set Apart as a Forest Sanctuary

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the area of permanent State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as a forest sanctuary to preserve for scientific purposes an intact example of the original (podocarp-hardwood) forest of Whirinaki Basin.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT-WHAKATANE COUNTY PART Urewera A Block, situated in Block I, Tuwatawata Survey District, and Block XIII, Ahikereru Survey District; area, 404 acres, more or less. (S.O. 45237.)
As shown on plan N. 95/3 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

The Howard Estate Advisory Board Regulations 1928, Amendment No. 1

THE HON. N. L. SHELTON, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 10 of the Howard Estate Amendment Act 1927, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following regulations.
REGULATIONS
- Title and commencement-(1) These regulations may be cited as the Howard Estate Advisory Board Regulations 1928, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Howard Estate Advisory Board Regulations* (hereinafter referred to as the principal regulations).
(2) These regulations shall come into force on the day after the date of their notification in the Gazette. - Members' travelling allowance-Regulation 7 of the principal regulations (as amended by section 7 (1) of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) is hereby further amended by omitting from subclause (1) the expression "$3.00", and substituting the expression "$10.00".
