KAIKOURA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Redemption Loan No. 3, 1971β€”$7,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Kaikoura County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $7,500 authorised to be raised by the Kaikoura County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the redemption
of the Kaikoura County Council Water Supply Loan 1959,
fourth and fifth issues, the said Kaikoura County Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two five (.025)
cents in the dollar upon the rateable value, on the basis of the
capital value, of all the rateable property comprised in the
Kaikoura Township Water Supply Special Rating Area; and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Storm Water Footpaths and Roading Redemption Loan 1970,
$73,800

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its
amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto
enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby
resolve as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of seventy-three thousand eight hundred dollars
($73,800) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
repaying on maturity that portion of the Storm Water Foot-
paths and Roading Loan 1957, $370,000, Final Issue of
$120,000 which matures on 15 February 1971, the said
Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate
of one hundred and seventy-five ten-thousandths of a cent
(0.0175c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the
City of Palmerston North, and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

City Development Redemption Loan 1970, $55,600

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its
amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto
enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby
resolve as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of fifty-five thousand six hundred dollars ($55,600)
authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council
under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying
on maturity that portion of the City Development Loan 1959,
$240,000, Final Issue of $90,000 which matures on 15 February
1971, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a
special rate of one hundred and thirty-two ten-thousandths of
a cent (0.0132c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value
(upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property of the City of Palmerston North, and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the cur-

reney of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April in each year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TARARUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reticulation Loan 1970, $40,000

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Tararua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan
of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Tararua Electric
Power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose
of further supplying and distributing electrical energy for the
benefit of the Board's district, the said Tararua Electric Power
Board hereby makes a special rate of point nought three five
cents (.035 cents) in the dollar on the unimproved value of all
rateable property in the Tararua Electric Power Board's
district, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan, and shall be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

Main Roads Property Purchase Loan 1970, $150,000

"THAT, pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities
Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves
as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan
of $150,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County
Council under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, for
the purpose of purchasing property in connection with the
Master Transportation Plan works in Peer Street, Fendalton
Road, and Northcote Road, the Waimairi County Council
makes a special rate of 0.013592c (cents) in the $ (dollar)
upon the rateable value on the basis of capital value of all
rateable property in the Waimairi County, and that the special
rate shall be an annually recurring charge during the currency
of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Waimairi County Council hereby resolves that for the purpose

authorised to be raised under the above-mentioned Act, for
the purpose of repaying on maturity $17,000 of the Water
Supply Redemption Loan No. 1, 1961, which matures on the
24th day of May 1971, the said Waimairi County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.001543 cents (c) in the
dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital
value) of all rateable properties within the County of
Waimairi, and that the above-mentioned rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
