Reservation of Land and Appointment to Control and Manage

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for education (pre-school) purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, appoints the Otago and Southland Playcentre Association Incorporated to control and manage the said reserve.

Proposed Exemption from Import Licensing Withdrawal Notice (No. 2) 1971

PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 8) 1971.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

NOTICE is hereby given that the proposed exemptions from import licensing in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the First Schedule hereto, included in the New Zealand Gazette of 26 November 1970, are hereby amended by the withdrawal therefrom of goods of the classes specified in the Second Schedule hereto.

Licensing the Kaitaia Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd. to Occupy a Site for a Wharf and Shed on the Awanui River

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Kaitaia Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Awanui River as shown on plans marked M.D. 6456 and M.D. 7802 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf and shed as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
