And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the
Hawke’s Bay County Council in Browning Street, Napier, and
is open for inspection without fee by all persons during
ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any
objection to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or
payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and
send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication
of this notice, to the said Hawke’s Bay County Council at
its office aforesaid, and that if any objection is made in accordance
with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be
held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Notice OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Urban
Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945 and their
respective amendments:

Notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and
all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that
behalf, to execute a certain public work for the purposes of
Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act
1945 in the City of Wellington and for the purpose of that
public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a
plan of the land which is required to be taken is deposited in
the Public Office of the Town Clerk of the said Council in
the Municipal Office Building, Mercer Street, and is there open
for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary
office hours, and that any person affected by the execution of
the said public work or the taking of the said land should if
he has any objection to the execution of the said public work
or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to
amount or payment of compensation, send his written objection
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the
Town Clerk at his said office; and notice is hereby further
given that if any objection is made as aforesaid, a public hearing
of that objection will be held unless the objector otherwise
requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and
place of that hearing and at that hearing each objector will be
advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

and 33–33A Sidey Street containing by admeasurement twenty-
five and two-tenths perches (25.2 p.), more or less, being
part of section 64, on the original plan of the Town of Wel-

Deposited Plan 2112, and being the whole of the land comprised
and described in certificate of title, Volume 199, folio
266 (Wellington Registry).

and described in certificate of title, Volume 611, folio 97; as
the said piece of land is more particularly delineated on a
plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington,
numbered 26662, and thereon coloured orange.

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain
public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for
the purposes of that public work the land described in the
First Schedule hereto is required to be taken and the
portions of the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto are required to be stopped. And notice is further given
that the plan of the land so required to be taken and the
portions of the road required to be stopped is deposited
in the office of the Tauranga County Council, Barke’s Corner,
Cameron Road, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection,
that all persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land or by the stopping
of the said portions of road should, if they have any objections
to the execution of the said public work or the taking
of the said land or by the stopping of the said portions of
road, not being objections to the amount or payment of
compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the
written objection within 40 days of the first publication of
this notice, to the Tauranga County Council at Tauranga,
and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this
notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the Council meeting at
which the hearing will be held.
