  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Fourth Schedule hereto, regulation 11 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply with respect to the areas described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water at Paraparamumu Beach extending 200 yd from the water's edge, and bounded on the sides by parallel lines 150 yd apart, the northern boundary being an extension of the northern boundary line of Lot 8, D.P. 10250.

SECOND SCHEDULE

(a) All that area of water at Paraparamumu Beach extending 200 yd from the water's edge and bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yd apart, the northern boundary being coincident with the southern boundary of the area described in the First Schedule of this notice.

(b) All that area of water at Paraparamumu Beach extending 200 yd from the water's edge and bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yd apart, the western boundary being an extension of the eastern boundary line of Lot 8, D.P. 25239.

(c) All that area of water at Raumati Beach extending 200 yd from the water's edge, and bounded on the sides by parallel lines extending in a due west direction 100 yd apart, the northern boundary commencing at a point due west of the western end of the northern seawall on the Wharemauku Stream.

THIRD SCHEDULE

THE access lane shall be marked as follows:

  1. Two 8-ft transit posts with a distance of not less than 10 ft or more than 20 ft between and painted with 12-in. bright orange and black bands, shall be erected on the land in line with each side of the access lane, the first post being sited near high-water mark.

  2. On each side of the transit posts sited near high-water mark, there shall be fastened, in line with the sides of the access lane, a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft, painted bright orange, with black lettering in the following form:

FOURTH SCHEDULE

THE reserved areas shall be marked as follows:

  1. Two 8-ft transit posts with a distance of not less than 10 ft or more than 20 ft between and painted with 12-in. bright orange and black bands, shall be erected on the land in line with each side of the access lane, the first post being sited near high-water mark.

  2. On each side of the transit posts sited near high-water mark, there shall be fastened, in line with the sides of the reserved area, a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted bright orange, with black lettering in the following form:

"NOTICE

MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962

Reserved area through which motor launches may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour.

Bathers and Water Skiers Keep Out"

Licensing Trustees for Awhina Fishing Club to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp at Tokomaru Bay

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby licenses and permits John James Stewart Savage, William Lewis, and Gordon Stewart Colbert, acting as trustees for the Awhina Fishing Club, for the purposes of this licence (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Tokomaru Bay as shown

on plan marked M.D. 14420 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1971.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be 6 dollars ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be 6 dollars ($6).

The Motor Launch (Lake Rotoiti, Nelson) Notice 1971β€”Nelson Lakes National Park Board

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby gives the following notice:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Lake Rotoiti, Nelson) Notice 1971.

(b) The notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until further notice.

  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water in Lake Rotoiti situated in Block XIII, Motupiko Survey District, bounded by parallel lines 150 yd apart and extending 200 yd from the water's edge. The eastern boundary line commencing at a point at the edge of the lake at normal lake level 40 yd eastwards of the jetty in line with the eastern boundary of Lake Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

THE access lane shall be marked as follows:

  1. Two 8-ft transit posts with a distance of not less than 10 ft or more than 20 ft between and painted with 12-in. bright orange and black bands shall be erected on the land in line with each side of the access lane, the first post being sited on the lake margin at normal lake level.

  2. On each side of the transit posts sited on the lake margin at normal lake level there shall be fastened in line with the sides of the access lane a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:

"NOTICE

MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962

Access lane through which motor launches and water skiers may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour.

Bathers Keep Out"

  1. Where practicable, marker buoys either barrel, drum, or spherical shaped, painted bright orange with a vertical black stripe, shall be moored 50 yd and 200 yd from the lake margin at normal lake level and in line with each set of transit posts.
