Declaration that Part of the Taupo Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Vesting in the Taupo Borough Council
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Taupo domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be recreation reserves subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act vests the said reserves in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Taupo, in trust, for recreation purposes.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 28) 1971
Pursuant to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:
-
(a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 28) 1971.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette. -
Goods of the class specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

Import Control Temporary Restriction Withdrawal Notice 1971
Pursuant to section 10E of the Tariff and Development Board Act 1961 and to the provisions of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:
-
(i) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Temporary Restriction Withdrawal Notice 1971.
(ii) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette. -
Import Control Temporary Restriction Notice (No. 2) 1968† covering goods of the class specified in the Schedule hereto, is hereby withdrawn.

Amending Determinations by the Minister of Customs Under Section 121 of the Customs Act 1966
Pursuant to section 121 of the Customs Act 1966, the Minister of Customs hereby amends, in the manner set out in the Schedule hereto, the determinations made under the said section on the 22nd day of March 1967 and published in the Gazette on the 22nd day of March 1967, at pages 417 and 418, and varied by notice in the Gazette of 17 September 1970, on page 1676.
SCHEDULE
The determinations are amended by omitting, wherever they appear, the words “Tariff items 87.01.11, 87.02.11 to 87.02.19, 87.02.41 to 87.02.43, 87.04.11, and 87.04.23” and substituting therefor the words “Tariff items 87.01.001, 87.02.001 to 87.02.009, 87.02.211 to 87.02.229, 87.04.001 and 87.04.111”.
This amendment shall come into force on the 1st day of January 1972.

The Motor Launch (Eastern Beach, Waitemata Harbour) Notice 1971—Manukau City Council
Pursuant to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, the Minister of Marine hereby gives the following notice:
-
(a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Eastern Beach, Waitemata Harbour) Notice 1971.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until further notice. -
Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply with respect to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
All that area of water at Eastern Beach, Waitemata Harbour, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 110 yd apart extending in an east-north-east direction 200 yd from the edge of the water, the southern boundary being in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 30373.
SECOND SCHEDULE
The access lane shall be marked as follows:
-
Two 8-ft transit posts with a distance of not less than 10 ft or more than 20 ft between and painted with 12-in. bright orange and black bands shall be erected on land in line with each side of the access lane, the first post being sited near high-water mark.
-
On each side of the transit posts sited near high-water mark there shall be fastened in line with the sides of the access lane a noticeboard measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:
“NOTICE
MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962
Access lane through which motor launches and water skiers may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour.
Bathers Keep Out”
- Marker buoys, either barrel, drum, or spherical shaped, painted bright orange with a vertical black stripe, shall be moored 50 yd apart and in line with each set of transit posts, the first buoy being 50 yd from the water’s edge.
