Assignment of Foreshore Licence for Launching Ramp at Papa Aroha, Coromandel
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Secretary for Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted to H. and N. Gilmore Ltd. on 12 April 1967 to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Papa Aroha, Coromandel, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a launching ramp, is hereby assigned to Papa Aroha Camp Ltd.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 196—Public Inquiry into Tariff Classification of “Rotoridgers”

  1. The Minister of Customs has referred to the Tariff and Development Board for inquiry and report the question whether “Rotoridgers”, being machines for ridging up potatoes and similar root crops, should be determined to be classified under Tariff item 84.24.97.
  2. Present classification of these machines is under Tariff item 84.24.98, which provides for duty-free admission from all sources. The rates of duty provided for under Tariff item 84.24.97 are BP 20% and General 20%, or such lower rates of duty as the Minister may in any case direct.
  3. In the course of its inquiry the Board will also consider the question of import licensing as it affects the goods in question.
  4. The Board will, in accordance with its normal procedures, conduct a public inquiry in the Boardroom, First Floor, Law Society Building, 26 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, on Wednesday, 14 April 1971, commencing at 10.30 a.m.
  5. Any person who intends to tender evidence should lodge 12 copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence, both public and confidential, to be presented under oath at the public inquiry, at the Board’s office no later than Friday, 29 March 1971. In preparing this evidence the “Notes for
