The Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 1, 1970

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 1, 1970.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared

to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

So much of the Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice 1969, dated the 16th day of September 1969† as relates to Albany, in the Waitemata County, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitemata County, at Albany:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 6 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the Oteha Stream bridge to a point 6 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Paremoremo Road).

No. 61 State Highway (Motueka-Motupiko) (from a point 10 chains measured northerly generally along the said highway from the Tadmor-Tapawera Road to a point 38 chains measured southerly generally along the said highway from the Tadmor-Tapawera Road).

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ellesmere County) Notice No. 2, 1970.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

3. The notice under regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated 14th day of September 1966†, which relates to Springston Township, in Ellesmere County, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Ellesmere County, at Springston:

Ellesmere Junction Road (from a point 5 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from the Leeston-Christchurch Road to a point 35 chains measured westerly generally along the said Ellesmere Junction Road from the Leeston-Christchurch Road).

Leeston-Christchurch Road (from the Ellesmere Junction Road to a point 24 chains measured southerly generally along the Leeston-Christchurch Road from the Ellesmere Junction Road).

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work at Hastings and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 23rd day of February 1970.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Porirua City Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes; and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Porirua, in trust, for that purpose.
