(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until further notice.

  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply with respect to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water at Kawakawa Bay in the Hauraki Gulf bounded on the sides by parallel lines 150 yds apart, extending in a 355° (true) direction 200 yds from the water’s edge, the southern point of the eastern boundary being 250 yds west of a point where a projection of the eastern boundary of Te Papa Road, Block VI, Wairoa S.D. meets the water’s edge.

SECOND SCHEDULE

THE access lane shall be marked as follows:

  1. Two 8 ft transit posts with a distance of not less than 10 ft or more than 20 ft between and painted with 12 in. bright orange and black bands shall be erected on land in line with each side of the access lane, the first post being sited on high-water mark.

  2. On each side of the transit posts sited on high-water mark there shall be fastened, in line with the sides of the access lane, a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:

“NOTICE
MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962
Access lane through which motor launches and water skiers may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour.

BATHERS KEEP OUT.”

  1. Marker buoys, either barrel, drum, or spherical shaped, painted bright orange with a vertical black stripe, shall be moored 50 yds apart and in line with each set of transit posts, the first buoy being 50 yds from the water’s edge.

Licensing Salthouse Bros. Ltd. to Occupy Sites for a Boat Hauling Out Area, Two Boatsheds, Slipway, Wharf, Pontoon/Jetty and Two Training Piles in the Lucas Creek, Waitemata Harbour at Greenhithe

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby licenses and permits Salthouse Bros. Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy parts of the foreshore and bed of the Lucas Creek, Waitemata Harbour, at Greenhithe as shown on plans marked M.D. 10266, M.D. 10476, M.D. 11435, M.D. 12485, and M.D. 13917, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat hauling out area, two boatsheds, slipway, wharf, pontoon/jetty and two training piles as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1970.

  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be six dollars ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20).

Revoking Foreshore Licences Issued to John Frederick Salthouse and Robert Edward Wild for Sites for a Boatshed, Boatbuilding Shed, Slipway, and Boat Hauling Out Area at Greenhithe

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby gives notice that the licence signed on 27 November 1958* authorising John Frederick Salthouse and Robert Edward Wild to occupy part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Greenhithe, Auckland Harbour, as a site for a boatbuilding shed, slipway, and boat hauling out area as shown on plans M.D. 10266 and M.D. 10476, and the licence signed on 4 February 1963†, and amended on 2 February 1967‡, authorising John Frederick Salthouse to occupy part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Greenhithe, Auckland, as a site for a boatshed as shown on plans M.D. 11435 and M.D. 12485, are hereby revoked.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

Pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby gives notice that he approves amendment No. 1 (1970) to the Waimeha Domain and Waikanae Beach Foreshore and Controlled Waters General Bylaws 1967, made by the Waimeha Domain Board by special order and passed by the Board at a special meeting held on 14 October 1970, and subsequently confirmed on 11 November 1970.

Licensing Christopher Barrington Cramp and Margery Lee Cramp to Occupy a Site for Causeways in Kerikeri Inlet, Bay of Islands

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Christopher Barrington Cramp and Margery Lee Cramp (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy parts of the foreshore and bed of the Kerikeri Inlet in the Bay of Islands as shown on plans marked M.D. 12026 and M.D. 13985 deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon causeways as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
