RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Kawakawa Town Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan for $10,000 authorised to be raised by the Kawakawa
Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of street widening and provision of car parking, the said
Kawakawa Town Council hereby makes a special rate of
0 point two cents (0.2c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable
value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable
property in the Town District of Kawakawa; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day
of August in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid
off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Community Housing Loan (No. 2) 1969β$54,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its
amendments, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as
follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of $54,000 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
making advances for erecting a dwelling, the said Otamatea
County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought
seven two four (.0724) cents in the dollar upon the rateable
(unimproved) value of all rateable property in the County
of Otamatea; and that the special rate will be an annual
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
in each and every year on the 1st day of April during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the
loan is paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Otamatea County Council held on the 27th
day of January 1970.

OTAKI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Otaki Borough Council's Pensioners Flats Loan 1969
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act 1956, the Otaki Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $22,600 authorised to be raised by the Otaki Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
erecting accommodation for old people, the Otaki Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.375c in the dollar upon
the rateable value of all rateable property (on the basis of
unimproved value) of the Borough of Otaki; that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February
and the 1st day of August in each year and every year during
the currency of the said loan, being a period of 40 years, or
until the loan is fully paid off; and that a copy of the above
resolution be forwarded to the State Advances Corporation of
New Zealand.

Refuse Disposal and Plantation Reserve Loan 1969β$320,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of three hundred and twenty thousand
dollars ($320,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of developing a refuse disposal area and plantation reserve at
Silverstream, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of 0.222 of a cent in the dollar on the
rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all
rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on or about the
1st day of August in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such time
as the loan is paid off."

Urban Renewal Loan 1969, of $360,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 2nd day of February
1970:
"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of three hundred and sixty thousand dollars ($360,000)
to be known as Urban Renewal Loan 1969, of $360,000,
authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the cost
of land purchase, demolition, site clearance and development,
resubdivision, and works incidental to urban renewal, the
Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
nought one nine of a cent (.019c) in the dollar on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and
that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly
on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of
the said loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years or until
the loan is fully paid off."
