WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Streetworks Loan 1969, of $150,000

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 2nd day of February 1970:

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing, strengthening, and improving streets in the city, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one of a cent (.01c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waterworks Rehabilitation and Extension Loan 1969, of $610,500

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 2nd day of February 1970:

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of six hundred and ten thousand five hundred dollars ($610,500) to be known as Waterworks Rehabilitation and Extension Loan 1969, of $610,500, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving and extending the city water supply, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three five of a cent (.035c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1953, the Geraldine County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing interest, sinking funds, and other charges on the Geraldine County Council Bridge Redemption Loan 1970-$12,000, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal zero zero five five four six (.005546) cents in the dollar ($) on the rateable capital value of all rateable property within the County of Geraldine; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate throughout the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was duly passed by the Geraldine County Council at a duly constituted meeting of the said Council, held on the 2nd day of February 1970.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Dunedin City Development Loan No. 6, 1969, of $62,500

Copy of resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 2 February 1970:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $62,500 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the Dunedin Public Art Gallery, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0076c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL

SECURITY RATE

Pensioner Flats (Mairehau Road) Loan 1969-$86,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolved as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $86,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.003195c (cents) in the $ (dollar) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Waimairi; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

In the matter of Part IV of the Administration Act 1952, notice is hereby given that the estate of William Neil Brown, deceased, was ordered to be administered under the provisions of Part IV of the Administration Act 1952 on the 4th day of February 1970. And I hereby summon a meeting of the creditors to be held at the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, corner of Oxford Terrace and Worcester Streets, Christchurch, on the 17th day of February 1970, at 10.30 a.m.
