WHANGAROA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Whangaroa County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the creation of a water supply catchment area; and, for the purposes of such public work, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. The said lands are shown, coloured yellow, on a plan which is available for inspection by the public during office hours at the Whangaroa County Council Chambers in Leigh Street, Kaeo, and which will be so available until and including the 24th day of March 1970.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections, in writing, and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Leigh Street, Kaeo. If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, public notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the stopping of a road; and, for the purposes of that public work, the road described in the Schedule hereto is required to be stopped. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the road required to be stopped is deposited at the offices of the Raglan County Council, Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, and is there open for inspection; all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the stopping of the said road should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the stopping of the said road, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection to the office of the Council not later than the 24th day of March 1970; and if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
