HUNTLY BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Huntly Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Huntly Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purposes of
completing the sewer reticulation of the borough, the said
Huntly Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal one one five cents in the dollar upon the rateable
value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of
Huntly; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the
1st day of September in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Huntly
Borough Council held on the 27th day of October 1970.

UPPER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Maidstone Park Grandstand Supplementary Loan 1970 of
$14,300
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Upper Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges
on a loan of $14,300, authorised to be raised under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the purpose for
which the Maidstone Park Grandstand Loan 1969 of $143,000
was sanctioned, the said Upper Hutt City Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal 005 cents in the dollar on
the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of
all rateable property in the City of Upper Hutt, and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the said loan, and shall be paid yearly on the 1st
day of April in each and every year until the loan is fully
repaid."
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Upper Hutt City Council held on the 28th day of October
1970.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Loan No. 46, Natural Gas 1970β$450,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board hereby resolves
as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges of a
loan of four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($450,000)
authorised to be raised by the Hutt Valley Electric Power and
Gas Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
further natural gas reticulation in the Board's electric power
and gas district, and for such purpose to do all or any of such
matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by
the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments, and
by all other powers and authorities it thereunto enabling, the
Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board hereby makes a
special rate of 0.03270 cents in the dollar ($) upon the rate-
able value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property in the Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas
District, comprising the Cities of Lower Hutt, Porirua, and

Upper Hutt; part of the City of Wellington; the Boroughs of
Eastbourne, Petone, and Tawa; part of the Hutt County, and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st
day of March in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan
is fully paid off."

Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board hereby resolves
as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges of a
loan of two million, three hundred thousand dollars
($2,300,000) authorised to be raised by the Hutt Valley Electric
Power and Gas Board under the above-mentioned Act, for
the purpose of further electricity reticulation in the Board's
electric power and gas district, and for such purpose to do all
or any of such matters and things which the board is
empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and
its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it
thereunto enabling, the Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas
Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.18049 cents in the
dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unim-
proved value) of all rateable property in the Hutt Valley
Electric Power and Gas District, comprising the Cities of
Lower Hutt, Porirua, and Upper Hutt; part of the City of
Wellington; the Boroughs of Eastbourne, Petone, and Tawa;
part of the Hutt County, and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and
be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electricity Extension Loan 1970, $600,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its
amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling,
the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing principle, interest, and
other charges on a loan of six hundred thousand dollars
($600,000) authorised to be raised by the Christchurch City
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
extending the distribution system and electrical reticulation of
the Council's electricity undertaking, the said Christchurch City
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of $.000525
(decimal nought nought nought five two five) in the dollar
on the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value,
of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christ-
church; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate payable on demand during the currency of the loan being
a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off."
The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the
29th day of October 1970, passed the above resolution.
