above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of installing sewerage reticulation, sewerage treatment works, and a water supply in Lake Tekapo Village, the said Mackenzie County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 00387 cents in the dollar upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the County of Mackenzie, excepting the Fairlie County Town, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Mackenzie County Council held on 2 October 1970.

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by The Sutherland Self Help Trust Nominees Ltd., for consent to a specified departure and to a conditional use of the land hereinafter described, for the erection of a supermarket for the sale of meat, fruit, vegetables, fancy/variety goods, groceries, confectionery, with banking facilities and off-street parking.
The property is on the south side of Herbert Street, Invercargill. The property is situated at No. 11 Herbert Street, Invercargill, and is located in the "Residential A" zone.
The legal description of the land is all that piece of land situated in the Invercargill Hundred, containing 1 rood 10.4 poles, more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 2578, being also part of Section 29, Block I of the said Hundred, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 142, folio 82, Southland Registry.
The application may be examined at the office of the City Engineer, Esk Street, Invercargill, during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Invercargill City Council, P.O. Box 906, Invercargill, not later than 4 p.m. on the 27th day of November 1970.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

NOTICE OF A PRIVATE BILL
THE EDEN PARK TRUST AMENDMENT ACT 1970
IN THE MATTER of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to Private Bills, and IN THE MATTER of a Private Bill intituled "The Eden Park Trust Amendment Act 1970":
NOTICE is hereby given that the Eden Park Trust Board, a body duly incorporated under the Eden Park Trust Act 1955, intends to present a petition to the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled for the passing of the abovementioned Bill.
The object of the Bill is to redefine the term "trust property" so as to include property both real and personal acquired by the Trust Board since the passing of the Eden Park Trust Act 1955, and any property both real and personal which the Trust Board may acquire in the future; to give such redefinition retrospective effect; and to extend the power of the Board of Control to borrow moneys on bank overdraft.
The promoter of the Bill is the Eden Park Trust Board, whose address for service of notices and communications is at the offices of its duly appointed solicitors, Messrs Anderson, Snedden and Bradford, First Floor, Yorkshire House, Shortland Street, Auckland, where a copy of the Bill may be inspected.
Printed copies of the Bill will be deposited in the Private Bill Office, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, on or before the 20th day of October 1970.
