3. Subject to the conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply in the Frankton Arm Entrance within the area marked by noticeboards provided that speeding craft do not approach closer than 100 yd to each shore.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE access lane shall be marked as follows:

1. On the northern and southern shores of Frankton Arm Entrance a noticeboard shall be placed in each of the following positions, true bearings and distances from Trigonometrical Station "C", Block 1, Coneburn S.D.; 360°, 785 yds; 033°, 1,050 yd; 357°, 275 yd; and 055°, 660 yd.
2. The noticeboards shall measure not less than 2 ft. 6 in. by 2 ft, painted bright orange with black lettering as follows:
   "NOTICE
   MOTOR LAUNCH ACCESS LANE FOR SPEEDS IN EXCESS OF 5 M.P.H.
   Regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 do not apply in respect of the entrance area of Frankton Arm, marked by four orange noticeboards and beyond 100 yards from each shore.

   BATHING AND FISHING PROHIBITED WITHIN THE MARKED AREA

    National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
    IT is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 21 October 1970 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 8 State Highway (Timaru to Milton) from its junction with No. 80 State Highway (Pukaki to Hermitage) to its crossing of the Ohau River, a distance of approximately 7.6 miles as more particularly shown on sheets 1, 2, and 3 of plans M.O.W. 16690 and the accompanying schedule held in the office of the resident engineer, Ministry of Works, Timaru, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
