3. Subject to the conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply in the Frankton Arm Entrance within the area marked by noticeboards provided that speeding craft do not approach closer than 100 yd to each shore.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE access lane shall be marked as follows:
- On the northern and southern shores of Frankton Arm Entrance a noticeboard shall be placed in each of the following positions, true bearings and distances from Trigonometrical Station "C", Block 1, Coneburn S.D.; 360°, 785 yds; 033°, 1,050 yd; 357°, 275 yd; and 055°, 660 yd.
- The noticeboards shall measure not less than 2 ft. 6 in. by 2 ft, painted bright orange with black lettering as follows:
"NOTICE
MOTOR LAUNCH ACCESS LANE FOR SPEEDS IN EXCESS OF 5 M.P.H.
Regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 do not apply in respect of the entrance area of Frankton Arm, marked by four orange noticeboards and beyond 100 yards from each shore.

The Road Classification (Waimate West County) Notice No. 1, 1970
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE - This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Waimate West County) Notice No. 1, 1970.
- The proposal of the Waimate West County Council to classify all the roads within its control as class two is hereby approved.
- The Warrants dated 5 December 1969^, 28 November 19672, 29 August 19673, 17 November 19644, 10 December 19585, and 6 October 19506, which relate to the classification of the roads described in clause 2 hereof are hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE - This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Wanganui County) Notice No. 2, 1970.
- The Wanganui County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.
- So much of the Warrant dated the 3rd day of June 1969† which relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
IT is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 21 October 1970 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 8 State Highway (Timaru to Milton) from its junction with No. 80 State Highway (Pukaki to Hermitage) to its crossing of the Ohau River, a distance of approximately 7.6 miles as more particularly shown on sheets 1, 2, and 3 of plans M.O.W. 16690 and the accompanying schedule held in the office of the resident engineer, Ministry of Works, Timaru, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
