Temporary Protection of Industry

NOTICE is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake an inquiry in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Amendment Act 1967, and to report in terms of section 10D of that Act, concerning the following goods:

Cold-formed angles, shapes, and sections of iron and steel; sheet piling of iron or steel, falling within Tariff items ex 73.11.11 to ex 73.11.49.

Grant of Oyster Farming Lease

PURSUANT to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, the Minister of Marine has granted to Nga Motu Farm Ltd. of Kaiwaka, the lease of an area of 15 acres of seabed (lease No. 176) situated adjacent to Nga Motu Island in the Whakaki River in Kaipara Harbour, for the cultivation of rock oysters.

Assignment of Rock Oyster Farming Lease

PURSUANT to regulation 41 of the Rock Oyster Farming Regulations 1964, the Minister of Marine consented to the assignment of oyster farming lease number 123, situated in the Whakaki River in Kaipara Harbour, to Northern Rock Oysters Ltd. of Auckland, a New Zealand company, and subsequently a deed of assignment was executed on 15 September 1970.

Redefining Class of Persons Entitled to Use and Benefit From Maori Reservation

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated 9 November 1954 and published in Gazette, 18 November 1954, No. 69, page 1795, the land described in the Schedule hereto was set apart as a Maori reservation for the common use and benefit of the owners thereof.

And whereas it is now desired to redefine the class of persons for whose use and benefit the said Maori reservation was set apart:

Now therefore, pursuant to section 439 (5) (c) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the class of persons for whose use and benefit the said reservation was set apart are hereby redefined to be those set out in the schedule hereto.
