That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $25,000 authorised to be raised by the Rodney County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
purchasing a new fire appliance for the Wellsford County
Town and surrounding district and making alterations and
additions to the Wellsford Fire Station, the said Rodney
County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.021 cents
in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable

advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1959,
the said Patea County Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought one nought nine six (.01096) cents in the
dollar on the rateable capital value of all rateable property
comprising the County of Patea, and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan, and be payable half-yearly in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until
