WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council
proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the con-
struction of a public road for which purpose the land
described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the
Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.
A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies
open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank
Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in
writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution
of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and
to send such written objection to the Waipa County Council
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A
public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector
otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the
time and place of the hearing.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 8, 1970

THAT whereas, the sum of $14,400 borrowed by the Waitemata
County Council under the Water Supply Development Loan
1958, is due and payable on the 1st day of December 1970,
and whereas, the sum of $12,000 is required to pay for the
said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the
powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities
Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of $12,000 for the purpose of
repaying the said loan.
(b) That the sum of $12,000 shall be payable on the 1st day
of December 1994, or such earlier date as may be
determined by Council.
(c) That for the purpose of providing interest, principal,
and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 8,
1970, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of
0011c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of
all rateable property within the County of Waitemata,
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate through the currency of the loan, and payable
yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County

by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of $12,800 for the purpose of

(b) That the sum of $12,800 shall be payable on the 1st
day of November 1994, or such earlier date as may
be determined by Council.
(c) That for the purpose of providing interest, principal,
and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 5,
