AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963
and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that
the Auckland Regional Authority a body corporate constituted
under the provisions of the Auckland Regional Authority Act
1963, proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Acts to execute a public work, namely, the construction of
the Greenlane-Balmoral-Mount Albert Regional Road, and
for the purposes of such public work the lands described in
the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is
hereby given that plan number R.D. 212 showing the lands
so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of
the Secretary to the Auckland Regional Authority, situated on
the Third Floor of Regional House, 121 Hobson Street,
Auckland, and is open to inspection without fee, by all
persons, during ordinary office hours. Every person affected
is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he
may wish to make to the execution of the work or to the
taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount
or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to
the Auckland Regional Authority, Regional House, 121
Hobson Street, Auckland.
If any objection is made as aforesaid, a public hearing of
the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise
requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and
place of hearing.
