- The alteration of the boundaries of the said County and the said Borough, hereinbefore made, shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being portion of the County of Manawatu containing 9 acres 1 rood, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the north-eastern side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway with the right bank of the Oroua River and proceeding south-westerly along the said right bank to the south-western side of the railway aforesaid; thence north-westerly along that side to a point in line with the southern side of South Street; thence easterly and south-easterly along the boundaries of the Borough of Feilding as described in Gazette, 1968, p. 717, to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

O R D E R
- This order shall come into force on 1 October 1970.
- The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the County of Taieri and included in the Borough of Mosgiel.
- The alteration of the boundaries of the said County and the said Borough, hereinbefore made, shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Taieri County, East Taieri Riding containing 8 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of that part of Section 5, Block VII, East Taieri Survey District, comprised in C.T. 258/292, and proceeding north-easterly along the original north-western side of Bush Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 9, Block III aforesaid; thence south-easterly to and along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 9 to a point 220 links distant from the south-eastern side of Bush Road; thence south-westerly along a line parallel to and 220 links distant south-eastward from the south-eastern side of Bush Road to the south-western boundary of Section 10, Block III, aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said Section 10 and its production to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

O R D E R

(1) This order may be cited as the Banks Peninsula Pest Destruction District Order 1970.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The boundaries of the Banks Peninsula Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 21st day of December 1927*, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE BANKS PENINSULA PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Counties of Akaroa, Ellesmere, Mount Herbert, and Wairewa, and the Borough of Lyttelton, containing 257,830 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing on the shore of Lyttelton Harbour at the southernmost point of the Head of the Bay, in Block VII, Halswell Survey District, on the north-eastern side of Governors Bay - Teddington Road and proceeding south-easterly along that roadside to a point in line with the middle of Gebbies Pass Road; thence south-westerly and north-westerly generally to and along the middle of that road and the middle of No. 75 State Highway to a point in line with the middle of Duck Pond Road; thence to and along the middle of that road and its production to the middle of the road forming the eastern boundary of Reserve 5194; thence southerly along the middle of that road and its production to and along the left bank of the Halswell River to the shore of Lake Ellesmere; thence south-westerly along a right line to the original outlet of Lake Ellesmere on the mean high-water mark of the sea (east of Maori Reserve 878); thence north-easterly and south-easterly generally along that mean high-water mark to Timutimu Head, in Block XII, Akaroa Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to Truini Point, and north-easterly, northerly, north-westerly and south-westerly generally along the mean high-water mark of the sea and the shores of Lyttelton Harbour to the point of commencement, including Quail Island, and excluding the Akaroa Riding of the Akaroa County as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1959, p. 1436.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Counties of Malvern, Paparua, Eyre, Waimairi, Heathcote, Mount Herbert, Halswell, Ellesmere, and Wairewa, the City of Christchurch, and the Boroughs of Riccarton and Lyttelton, containing 414,185 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in the middle of the mouth of the Waimakariri River and proceeding south-easterly generally along the sea coast to Godley Head; thence westerly and southerly generally along the shores of Lyttelton Harbour to the southernmost point of the Head of the Bay, in Block VII, Halswell Survey District, on the north-eastern side of Governors Bay - Teddington Road; thence south-easterly along that roadside to a point in line with the middle of Gebbies Pass Road; thence south-westerly and north-westerly generally to
