PURSUANT to section 16 of the Tramways Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves the term of the licence granted for a period of 21 years from the 10th day of October 1969, by the Taranaki County Council to Canada and New Zealand Associated Cable Company Limited authorising the said company to construct, lay down, use, and maintain on and across Paraite Road, Block II, Paritutu Survey District, Taranaki County, a private tramway for the purpose of connecting certain premises of the said company with the New Plymouth - Wellington Railway Line, the position of such tramway being more particularly shown by a double line crossing Paraite Road on the plan marked M.O.W. 24469 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and thereon lettered X-Y.
