Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act
1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation
of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve, set
apart by Proclamation dated the 7th day of October 1930 and
published in Gazette, 9 October 1930, Volume III, page 3126,
is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with
the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after
the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State
forest land and shall become Crown land, available for sale,
lease, reservation, or other disposition, under the provisions of
the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—GREY COUNTY
RESERVE 1732, situated in Blocks X and XIII, Mawheranui
Survey District: area, 340 acres, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
4th day of September 1970.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act
1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation
of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto, being provisional State forest reserve, set apart by
Proclamation dated the 11th day of October 1920, and pub-
lished in Gazette, 14 October 1920, Volume III, page 2839, is
required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with
the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after
the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest
land and shall become Crown land, available for sale, lease,
reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the
Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—GREY COUNTY
PART Reserve 1611, situated in Block I, Haupiri Survey
District: area, 448 acres and 6 perches, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

Declaring Land in the North Auckland Land District, Vested
in the Auckland Education Board as a Site for a School,
to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in
the Auckland Education Board as a site for a school, shall
be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from
every education trust affecting the same, but subject to all
leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at
the date hereof.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH
PART Lot 14, D.P. 1, being part Allotment 8, Section 10, Sub-
urbs of Auckland, situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey
District: area, 1.3 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title,
Volume 30, folio 194. As shown on the plan marked L. and S.
6/6/1242K, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan
46465.)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints

Clifton MacDonald Turner, of Otarawairere

to be a member of the Local Government Commission from
the day following that on which Frederick James Gwilliam, J.P.,
of Auckland, ceases to be a member of that Commission until
the 30th day of June 1971.
