“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $26,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of refinancing securities maturing on 15 September 1970, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought nought seven three cents (.0073 cents) in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Tauranga, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Vehicle Testing Station Loan 1970—$75,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Tauranga City Council held on the 24th day of August 1970, the following resolution was passed:

“That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $75,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing a vehicle testing station, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought one eight six seven cents (.01867 cents) in the dollar upon rateable value, on the basis of unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Tauranga, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CITY OF ROTORUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR LOAN

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ninety-nine thousand dollars ($99,000) to be known as the Rotorua City Council Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1970, $99,000, authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for elderly people, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one eight six cents (.0186c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Rotorua, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of forty-two thousand five hundred and seventy dollars ($42,570), authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purposes for which the Natural Gas Conversion Loan No. 1, 1968 of $129,300 and the Natural Gas Conversion Loan No. 2, 1969 of $425,700 were sanctioned, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of sixty-five ten thousandths of a cent (0.0065c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, instalment being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

MARLBOROUGH COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Marlborough County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $25,000, authorised to be raised by the Marlborough County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing water supply and sewerage disposal in the Riverlands Industrial area, the said Marlborough County Council hereby makes a special rate of six point five six six cents (6.566) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Riverlands Industrial Development Special Rating Area of the County of Marlborough, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring one during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Civic Administration Building Loan 1970, $235,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred and thirty-five thousand dollars ($235,000), authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing and equipping a Civic Administration Building the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.1339 cents in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
