IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

Notice of Meeting of Creditors

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Braehead Colliery Ltd., notice is hereby given that by an entry in its minute book dated 28 August 1970, the above-named company passed a resolution for voluntary winding up, and that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the registered office of the company, 152 Mackay Street, Greymouth, on Monday, the 7th day of September 1970, at 3 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the affairs of the company together with a list of creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors pursuant to section 285 of the Companies Act 1955, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company and may pursuant to section 286 of the Companies Act 1955, appoint a committee of inspection.

MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act and its amendments, and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and its amendments, notice is hereby given that the Manukau City Council intends to take under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public work, viz, a street; a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the said Council at Hill Road, Manurewa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during the ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land, are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any objections they may have to such execution or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation, and send such writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the City Manager, City of Manukau, Private Bag, Manurewa. If any objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing. At the hearing of any objection the objector shall be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XII of the Titirangi Survey District and in the City of Manukau, containing seven decimal four perches (0.0.07.4P.), more or less, being part Lot 196, Manurewa Parish, and part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 247, folio 113, North Auckland Land Registry; as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 45683, and thereon coloured yellow, being an area adjoining the legal street named Oruarangi Road.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road, for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928; a plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection to the Waipa County Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Chatham Islands require to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public work, namely, a road.

Notice is hereby further given that the plan of the said lands (No. S.O. 25097) is open to inspection by all persons at the following places:

1. The office of the Chatham Islands County Council, Waitangi, Chatham Islands; and

2. The offices of Messrs Macalister, Mazengarb, Parkin and Rose, Solicitors, National Bank Building, Featherston Street, Wellington.
