Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First
Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared
to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953;
and whereas the appellation of the land has been changed by
subsequent order of the Maori Land Court; and whereas it is
considered necessary the aforesaid land shall remain subject
to the provisions of the said Part XXIV; and whereas it is
desired to declare further land to be subject to those provisions:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
follows:

Notice Hamilton 1970, No. 8. -
The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act -
This notice is issued in replacement of the notice referred
to in the First Schedule hereto, which is hereby revoked.

Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961
PURSUANT to the provisions of regulation 18 (3) of the Elec-
trical Wiring Regulations 1961, the following specifications are
declared suitable for the purposes of those regulations.
BRITISH STANDARDS
BS 6004 : 1969—PVC-insulated cables (non-armoured) for
electric power and lighting (metric units).
BS 6007 : 1969—Elastomer-insulated cables for electric power
and lighting (metric units).
BS 6231 : 1969—PVC-insulated cables for switchgear and
control gear wiring (metric units).
BS 6500 : 1969—Insulated flexible cords (metric units).
BS 6746 : 1969—PVC insulation and sheath of electric cables
(metric units).
*These specifications are declared suitable, subject to the size
of the earth-continuity conductor, for the cables described
in table 8 of BS 6004 and table 10 of BS 6007, having the
same relative size to the current-carrying conductors as for
the similar cables set out in table 24 of the Electrical Wiring
Regulations 1961.

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956
(as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans
Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to
the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to
the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to
the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective

Describing the Boundaries of the Manawatu Combined
Abattoir District and Specifying the Feilding Borough
Council as the Controlling Authority of the said District
(No. Ag. 10564)
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Meat Act 1964 and to a delega-
tion from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the
said section, notice is hereby given as follows:
- The Manawatu Combined Abattoir District shall hence-
forth comprise
the City of Palmerston North;
the Borough of Feilding;
the Borough of Marton;
the County of Kairanga;
the County of Kiwitea;
the County of Manawatu, excluding the Awahau Riding
and Beach Riding;
the County of Oroua;
the County of Pohangina; and
that area of the Rangitikei County described in the Schedule
hereto.
- The Feilding Borough Council shall continue as the
controlling authority of the said abattoir district.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of the district of the County of Rangitikei
constituted as the Bulls County Town by special order of the
Council of the said county, pursuant to section 416 of the
Counties Act 1956, being also the Bulls Riding of the said
county, comprising all that area in the County of Rangitikei
bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner
of Lot 50, D.P. 402; thence northerly along the western
boundary of that lot, the abutment of a road, and the western
boundaries of Lots 44, 40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, and 32,
D.P. 402, to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 12, Deeds
Plan 463; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the
south-eastern boundary of Lot 11, Deeds Plan 463, to the
southernmost corner of that lot; thence north-westerly along
the south-western boundaries of that lot, Lot 9, and part
Block II, Rangitikei District, as shown on the said Deeds
