THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000), authorised to be
raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting dressing sheds and
conveniences, developing reserves, and making improvements
to the crematorium and its equipment, the said Palmerston
North City Council hereby makes a special rate of fifty-four
ten-thousandths of a cent (0.0054c) in the dollar ($) upon the
rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of
all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North, and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council
on the 27th day of July 1970.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Storm Water Drainage Loan 1968, $250,000-Final Instalment
of $125,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its
amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto
enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby
resolve as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of one hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars
($125,000), authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North
City Council, under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of providing storm water drainage for the central city area
the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special
rate of two hundred and twenty-five ten-thousandths of a cent
(0.0225c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of
the City of Palmerston North, and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan,
being a period of fifteen (15) years or until the loan is fully
paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North City Council
on the 27th day of July 1970.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Dunedin City Development Loan No. 8, 1970 of $1,550,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $1,550,000, authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
meeting part of the cost of augmenting the city water supply,
the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of
0.188 cent in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rate-
able property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of
the City of Dunedin, and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the
above-mentioned date.

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Patangata County District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme
review No. 1 under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953
for the County of Patangata was approved by the council by
resolution passed at its meeting held on the 15th day of
July 1970, after all objections, appeals, and arbitration relating
to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been
amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed
and all amendments of the district scheme required by the
Board had been incorporated.

The council has also resolved that the scheme shall come
into operation on the 1st day of September 1970.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in
the council's office Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, and
may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires
at any time when that office is open to the public.

Dated at Waipukurau this 16th day of July 1970.
