WHANGAREI CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei City Council at a meeting held on 1 July 1970 passed the following resolution:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $80,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of purchasing land required for future roading works under the Whangarei transportation plan, the said Whangarei City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.02211 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Whangarei, comprising the whole of the City of Whangarei, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and the said council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said rate as security for the said loan."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Housing Advances Loan 1970, $30,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei County Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of making advances to employees for housing purposes, the Whangarei County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.014438 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Whangarei, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei City Council at a meeting held on 1 July 1970 passed the following resolution:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $300,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of providing sewerage reticulation in the Otaika and city areas, the said Whangarei City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0829 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Whangarei, comprising the whole of the City of Whangarei, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and the said council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said rate as security for the said loan."

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Roads Reconstruction Loan 1970-$500,000 Portion $250,000 RESOLVED that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing interest and annual charges on a loan of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000), authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing some of the roads within the borough, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council makes a special rate of decimal nought six one two five (.06125) of a cent in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and be paid yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Trafalgar Centre Loan 1970
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of $240,000 to be known as the "Trafalgar Centre Loan 1970" authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of erecting a civic hall and purchasing furnishings and equipment, the Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.23230 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the City of Nelson comprising the whole of the said city; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is paid off.
