RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

High Pressure Water Supply Loan 1958 of $472,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Paparua County Council hereby resolved as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges of a loan of $109,540, authorised to be raised by the Paparua County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the High Pressure Water Supply Loan 1958 of $472,000, which matures on 3 October 1970, the said Paparua County Council makes a special rate of 0.0101 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the area included in the loan, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

KAIKOURA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikoura County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand dollars ($10,000), authorised to be raised by the Kaikoura County Council under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of building pensioners' flats, the said Kaikoura County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 0006 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value, of all the rateable property comprised in the whole of the County of Kaikoura, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

LYTTELTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Street Improvement Loan 1970, $107,000

"THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lyttelton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $107,000, to be raised under the above Act for the purpose of reconstructing certain streets in the borough, the said Lyttelton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one point four cents in the dollar upon the rateable value on the basis of the annual value of all rateable property situated in the Borough of Lyttelton, and that rate shall be an annual-recurring rate and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

SOUTH CANTERBURY CATCHMENT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Orari-Waihi-Temuka Loan No. 3, 1970—$90,000

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed by the Board on 9 June 1970, and confirmed as a special order on 8 July 1970:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the said loan of $90,000 under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the South Canterbury Catchment Board hereby makes a rate of 0.1170 cent on lands classed A, 0.0819 cent on lands classed B, 0.0546 cent on lands classed C, 0.0273 cent on lands classed D, 0.0117 cent on lands classed E, and 0.0039 cent on lands classed F upon the rateable

capital value of all rateable property in the Orari-WaihiTemuka Rivers Special Rating District in proportion to the classification adopted by the Board, and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.

AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Balmoral Water Supply Redemption Loan, 1969, $18,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Amuri County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $18,000 (eighteen thousand dollars), authorised to be raised by the Amuri County Council under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Balmoral Water Supply Loan 1958 of $32,000 (thirty-two thousand dollars) which matures on 1 March 1970, the said Amuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one six cents (.16 cents), decimal zero eight cents (.08 cents), decimal zero two cents (.02 cents) in the dollar ($) on the capital value of all rateable lands in class A, B, and C, lands respectively in the Balmoral Water Supply District, and the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 12th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Amuri County Council held on the 6th day of February 1970.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF MAKING OF SPECIAL ORDER TO RAISE LOAN

PURSUANT to section 13 (2A) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that the special order to raise a loan of $80,000 to be known as the New Plymouth City Council Sewerage Extension Loan 1970, for the purpose of extending, developing, and improving the council's sewerage system has been made in terms of the relevant Statutes, and that 5 percent or more of ratepayers have not demanded that a poll be taken on the proposal.

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Patangata County District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme review No. 1 under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the County of Patangata was approved by the council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 15th day of July 1970, after all objections, appeals, and arbitration relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.

The council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of September 1970.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the council's office Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when that office is open to the public.
