IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955, and IN THE MATTER
of ELECTRIC CONTROL AND ENGINEERING (N.Z.) LIMITED (in
receivership) :
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the
29th day of June 1970 presented to the said Court by B.N.Z.
FINANCE COMPANY LIMITED, a duly incorporated company
having its registered office at A.P.A. Building, Grey Street,
Wellington. AND that the said petition is directed to be
heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on Friday the
31st day of July 1970 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any
creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to
support or oppose the making of an order on the said
petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by
his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will
be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory
of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the
regulated charge for the same.

Court at Auckland, and must be signed by the person or firm,
or his or their solicitor (if any) and must be served, or if
posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the
above-named petitioner’s address for service not later than
4 o’clock in the afternoon of the 30th day of July 1970.

TE AWAMUTU BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Te Awamutu Borough
Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the
straightening and improving of the Mangapiko Stream, for
which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto
requires to be taken by the council under the provisions of
the Public Works Act 1928.
A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies
open to public inspection at the office of the council, Roche
Street, Te Awamutu.
Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in
writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution
of such work or to the taking of such land, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to
send such written objection to the Te Awamutu Borough
Council within 40 days from the first publication of this
notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public
work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes
of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken; and notice is further hereby given that
the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in
the offices of the Waikato County Council and is there open
for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of
the said public work or by the taking of the said land should,
if they have any objections to the execution of the said public
work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to
the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same
in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of
the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk of the
Waikato County Council; and that, if any objection is made in
accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection
will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of
the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the
Featherston County Council proposes under the provisions
of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work,
namely, road works in connection with the Bell’s Creek Devia-
tion, and for the purposes of such public work the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And
notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the
clerk to the said council, situate at Kitchener Street, Martin-
borough, and is open for inspection without fee, by all persons,
during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of such land, who have any objection to the
execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation), must state their objections in writing and send
the written objections within 40 days from the date of first
publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council
Chambers, Kitchener Street, Martinborough. If any objection
is made as aforesaid, a public hearing of the objection will be
held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector
will be advised of the date and place of the hearing.
