Classes of Goods
Hand tools, viz: striking faces for soft-faced hammers, hammers, planes, chisels, oil cans,
and screwdrivers (other than screwdrivers, fixed handle, with straight blades, in blade
lengths from 1¼" to 15" both inclusive and with blade thicknesses (round or square
shank) from ⅜" to ⅞" both inclusive; sets comprising any of the foregoing); beekeepers'
tools, cheesemakers' curd knives, and whaling tools.
Ornaments of artificial plastic materials, on declaration for use in the manufacture of
footwear.
Textile fabrics and textile articles of a kind commonly used in machinery or plant, admissible
under Part II of the Customs Tariff (other than mops and bobs as may be approved by
the Minister, and printers' blanketing).
Mops and bobs as may be approved by the Minister and under such conditions as he may
prescribe.
Printers' blanketing.
Parts of weed and scrub cutting mowers.
Parts of other agricultural, horticultural, poultry-keeping and beekeeping machinery; parts
of germination plant fitted with mechanical or thermal equipment.
Ammunition reloaders and parts thereof.
Skis (other than water skis) of sizes exceeding 170 cm in length; ski sticks, and parts thereof.
Date, sealing or numbering stamps, and the like, designed for operating in the hand; hand-
operated composing sticks and hand printing sets incorporating such composing sticks.

The Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 7, 1970
Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the
following notice.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification
    (National Roads Board) Notice No. 7, 1970.
  2. It is hereby declared, as required by the National Roads
    Board, that the State highway as set out in the Schedule hereto
    shall belong to the class set out in the said Schedule.
  3. So much of the notice dated the 8th day of June 1965†
    as relates to the classification of the road described in the
    Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
    SCHEDULE
    Roads Classified in Class One
    State Highway No. 67 (Westport-Karamea) (from Mokihinui Bridge to Karamea Bridge).

    Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles (Other Than
    Heavy Goods Service Vehicles) in Terms of the Traffic
    Regulations 1956
    Pursuant to regulation 49 (1) of the Traffic Regulations
    1956
    , the Secretary for Transport hereby approves, for the
    purposes of regulation 41 (2) of the said regulations, red
    reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule
    hereto.
    SCHEDULE
    TAIL lamp assemblies incorporating reflex red reflectors marked
    “Holden S14” on each decorative outer lens and “Holden R14”
    on each reflective inner lens.

    Revoking Declaration of State Highway and Declaring Public
    Highway to be State Highway
    Pursuant to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the
    National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the
    Minister of Works, hereby gives notice that the notice dated
    9 March 1960, published in the Gazette, 24 March 1960, Vol. I,
    p. 384, is hereby revoked in so far as it affects the State
    highway described in the First Schedule hereto; and that the
    public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is
    declared to be a State highway within the meaning and for the
    purposes of the National Roads Act 1953, as from and including
    the date of this notice.
    FIRST SCHEDULE
    STATE HIGHWAY REVOKED
    No. 56 State Highway (Palmerston North - Himatangi):
    Commencing at Skew Bridge and proceeding in a south-
    westerly direction to Half Crown Bend, thence in a north-
    westerly direction to Alve’s Corner, being a distance of 1 mile
    16 chains, as more particularly shown on plan M.O.W. 16399,
    deposited in the office of the Ministry of Works, Wellington,
    and thereon coloured brown.
    SECOND SCHEDULE
    DESCRIPTION OF STATE HIGHWAY
    No. 56 State Highway (Palmerston North - Himatangi):
    Commencing at Skew Bridge, and proceeding in a south-
    westerly direction, along the former Palmerston North - Foxton
    railway reserve to Alve’s Corner, being a distance of 1 mile
    4 chains, as more particularly shown on plan M.O.W. 16399,
    deposited in the office of the Ministry of Works, Wellington,
    and thereon coloured red.
    Dated at Wellington this 29th day of June 1970.

    Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
    Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
    Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
    set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a recreation
    ground, camping ground, and bathing place for the
    common use and benefit of all the Maori peoples of New
    Zealand.
