Declaring Land in Canterbury Land District, Vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a Site for a School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, The Right Hon. Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

PART Rural Section 27334, situated in Block X, Ashburton Survey District: area, 4 acres 1 rood 22 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 195, folio 44. HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Waipa County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those portions of road situated in Block I, Maungatautari Survey District, described as follows:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a motorway.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those portions of land and public highway in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, and Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, City of Auckland, and in the Boroughs of Mount Eden, One Tree Hill, and Ellerslie, being parts of the Auckland-Hamilton and Grafton Gully - Beach Road Motorways, described as follows:
Auckland-Hamilton Motorway—commencing at Wilkinson Road, Borough of Ellerslie, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction to its junction with Symonds Street, in the City of Auckland; and
Grafton Gully - Beach Road Motorway—commencing at its junction with the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway at the south-western end of Grafton Gully and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction to its junction with Symonds Street and Wynyard Street, in the City of Auckland.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked M.O.W. 24130 (six sheets) (A.D.O. 33350) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Marlborough Catchment District Order 1970

ORDER IN COUNCIL

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967 and the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
Title—This Order may be cited as the Marlborough Catchment District Order 1970.

Extension of Marlborough Catchment District—The area described in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter called “the said area”) is hereby included in the Marlborough Catchment District.

Interim representation of the said area on Marlborough Catchment Board—For the purposes of representation of the said area on the Marlborough Catchment Board until the next triennial general election of members thereof, the following provisions shall apply:
(a) One of the four members representing Blenheim Borough shall also represent Picton Borough;
(b) The three members at present representing the part of Waimea County in the Catchment District shall also represent that part of the area of Marlborough County included in the said area;
(c) One of the two members at present representing Kaikoura County, that part of Amuri County, that part of Awatere County and that part of Cheviot County at present in the Catchment District shall also represent Awatere County.

Appointment of representatives on Board—For the purposes of clause 3 of this Order, the Picton Borough Council shall appoint its representative and the Awatere County Council shall appoint its representative on the Marlborough Catchment Board.

Review of constitution of Marlborough Catchment Board—Before the next triennial general election of members, the Marlborough Catchment Board shall review its constitution and take such action as may be necessary to have its constitution amended under the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941.
