regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 15th
day of March 1963†, which relates to Lake County at Frankton
is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Lake County at Frankton:
No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and
Greymouth) (from a point 9 chains measured easterly
generally along the said State highway from McBride Street to
a point 48 chains measured westerly from the said McBride
Street: and from a point 3 chains measured southerly generally
along the said State highway from Gray Street to a point 4
chains measured northerly generally along the said State high-
way from the said Gray Street). Birse Street, Gray Street,

The Traffic (Waitaki County) Notice No. 2, 1970
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitaki County)
Notice No. 2, 1970. -
The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of
section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waitaki County at Omarama:
No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton) (from a point 12
chains measured north-easterly generally along the said
State highway from the No. 83 State Highway (Pukeuri-Oma-
rama) to a point 28 chains measured south-westerly generally
along the said No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton) from the
said No. 83 State Highway (Pukeuri-Omarama)).
No. 83 State Highway (Pukeuri-Omarama) (from the No. 8
State Highway (Timaru-Milton) to a point 24 chains measured
easterly generally along the said No. 83 State Highway
(Pukeuri-Omarama) from the said No. 8 State Highway
(Timaru-Milton)).

The Traffic (Alexandra Borough and Vincent County) Notice
No. 1, 1970
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Alexandra
Borough and Vincent County) Notice No. 1, 1970. -
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby
excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52
of the Transport Act 1962. -
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of
regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*. -
The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby
declared to be a 40-miles-per-hour speed limit area for the
purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*. -
The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and
regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 7th
day of June 1963†, which relates to Alexandra Borough and
Vincent County is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Alexandra Borough.
No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton) (from the north-
western boundary of Alexandra Borough to Gregg Street and
from the southern boundary of Alexandra Borough to the
southern end of the bridge over the Clutha River).
Earnscleugh Road.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Alexandra Borough.
No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-Milton) (from the southern
end of the bridge over the Clutha River to a point 7 chains
measured north-easterly generally along the said State Highway
from the southern boundary of Alexandra Borough.
Earnscleugh Road (from the No. 8 State Highway (Timaru-
Milton) to a point 16 chains measured north-westerly generally
along the said road from Aranui Road).
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Vincent County adjacent to Alexandra
Borough. No. 85 State Highway (Palmerston-Alexandra) (from
Coal Pit Road to the north-eastern boundary of Alexandra
Borough).

Declaring Land Taken for Railway Purposes in the Borough of
Mataura
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that
effect having been entered into, the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes. This
Declaration shall take effect from and after the 29th day of
June 1970.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in the Borough of Mataura
described as follows:

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Rotorua City Council
and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a
Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chair-
man, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Rotorua and
revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for
municipal building purposes described in the schedule hereto.
