Officers Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957,
His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
authorise the holders for the time being of the offices in the
service of the Crown specified in the Schedule below to take
and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First
Schedule hereto, the land described in that notice was declared
to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953;
and whereas it is desired to release certain parcels of the land
from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
    Notice Hamilton 1970, No. 35.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
    hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described
    in the Second Schedule hereto.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is
    hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the
    Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial
ground for the common use and benefit of Te Amohau Te
Manihera or Te Amohau Neha and his direct descendants and
their spouses.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a meeting
place and place of historical interest for the common use and
benefit of the members of the Ngatiruanui tribe.
