PURSUANT to section 185 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Wellington Harbour Board to reclaim from Wellington Harbour an area of 10.42 acres, more or less; as shown, edged red, on plan M.D. 13820 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

ALL that portion of road situated in Block III, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, being formerly part Allotment 184, Matata Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24116 (S.O. 45121) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Egmont National Park and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Egmont National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Arthur’s Pass National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Arthur’s Pass National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

Exempting Lands in the South Auckland Land District from
the Operations of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, the Right Hon. Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, do hereby exempt the lands described in the Schedule hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.

PART Allotment 10, Taupiri Parish, “Waro Street”, D.P. 9386; Lots 1, 2, and 17, Block II, and Lot 20, Block IV, D.P. 9386, being parts Allotment 10, Taupiri Parish, situated in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District; and Lot 16, D.P. 4740, being parts Allotments 7 and 9, Taupiri Parish, situated in Block XII, Rangiriri Survey District: area, 1 acre 3 roods 7.55 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 949, folio 161; save and excepting for Her Majesty the Queen all seams or beds of coal and all other minerals and metals, and reserving to Her Majesty the Queen and all persons lawfully entitled to work the said coal, minerals, and metals a right of ingress, egress, and regress under the said land.

PURSUANT to the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Act 1965, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to appoint, on the recommendation of the Minister of Internal Affairs

to be a member of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Board for a term expiring with 1 June 1976.
