Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial
ground for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of
the Mokau Beach area.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be
a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution
dated 20 May 1970 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public
Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of
State Highway No. 22 (Runciman-Tuakau) from Jesmond
Road to a point approximately 40 chains north of Paerata
Railway Station, a distance of approximately 5 miles, as more
particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of plans M.O.W. 16308
(A.D.O. 33385) and the accompanying Schedule, held in the
office of the resident engineer, southern residency, Ministry
of Works, Otahuhu, and there available for public inspection,
to be a limited access road.

Temporary Protection of Industry

NOTICE is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Autho-
rity has been requested to undertake inquiries, in terms of the
Tariff and Development Board Amendment Act 1967, and to
report, in terms of section 10D of that Act, concerning the
following goods:

  1. Compression ignition type marine engines up to 200 brake
    horsepower, and other types of marine engines up to 300 brake
    horsepower, falling within Tariff items 84.06.23 and 84.06.24.
