Proposed Exemption from Import Licensing Withdrawal Notice

Notice is hereby given that the proposed exemptions from import licensing in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the First Schedule hereto, included in the New Zealand Gazette of 2 October 1969 and 9 October 1969, are hereby amended by the withdrawal therefrom of iron and steel of the classes specified in the Second Schedule hereto.

Officers Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to authorise the officer in the service of the Crown being the holder for the time being of the office of District Probation Officer, Department of Justice, Takapuna, to take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Children's Court, North Shore

Pursuant to the Child Welfare Act 1925, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand hereby establishes a Children's Court at North Shore, to have jurisdiction within the North Island of New Zealand.

The Hawarden Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1970

Pursuant to the Local Licensing Trusts Regulations 1966, the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Hawarden Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1970.

  2. There is hereby constituted a local licensing trust, to be called the Hawarden Licensing Trust.

  3. (i) The first election of members of the Trust shall be on Saturday, the 18th day of July 1970.

(ii) The returning officer for the first election of members of the Trust shall be Bernard Philip MacManus, county clerk for the Waipara County.

  1. The area within which polls shall be taken for elections of members of the Trust shall be the whole of the area described in the Schedule to this notice.

  2. The area within which the Trust may distribute its profits shall be the whole of the area described in the Schedule to this notice.

All that land, contained in the County of Waipara, lying to the west of a line commencing at a point on the north boundary of the county, the centre of the Hurunui River, a distance of 60 chains north-west of the Waiau Branch Railway; thence continuing in a south-westerly direction towards and beyond the point of intersection of the east boundary of Reserve 3076 and the north boundary of Medbury Road until this line intersects the centre of the Waitohi River; thence in an easterly direction along the centre of the Waitohi River to the point of intersection with the centre of the Karaka Stream; thence in a southerly direction along the centre of the Karaka Stream to the point of intersection with the production of the north boundary of Lot 9, D.P. 1525; thence in a south-westerly direction to a point on the west boundary of Lot 9, D.P. 1525; a distance of 30 chains north of the north boundary of Hassalls Road; thence in a westerly direction to a point on the east boundary of the Waiau Branch Railway a distance of 10 chains
